December is a wrap. This month worked on the RLCS Fall Major in Rotterdam as a Technical Operations Manager, did replays for the E_Oranje stream for their playins, and working on some future events that I can share not just yet.

Besides that released RL Buddy for Android. A slimmed-down version of the caster/observer view for Rocket League to give commentators more information to expand their storytelling. A free app to showcase what is possible with the SOSPluginLink that I released earlier for Unreal Engine 5.1. Also released and updated some smaller apps to be used in small-scale productions. 

Let’s see what 2023 will bring and already a happy new year everyone.

RL Buddy – Free Android App

During some of the esports matches, you want to give the commentators just a little bit more information about the game and that is what RL Buddy does. Using SOS-Plugin RL Buddy is a stand-alone application that runs on Android Tablets or Windows (the Windows version is not out to the public). While at the moment just a little prototype, it is actively being developed by adding more stats, customization for the layout, and custom data that can be sent or retrieved from other data points. The application was first used during RLCS Fall Major in Rotterdam to collect feedback and start the process of improving the application.

SOS-Plugin Link for UE5 V0.7 update

A little update to the SOS-Plugin Link so you also get the data of what player is being observed. Planning to use this functionality in later projects I am trying to find time to work on. Stay tuned for those! Now also worked with the just-released Unreal Engine 5.1.

RLCS Fall Major Unreal Engine Graphics Integration and Technical Operations Manager

Made the integration for RLCS Fall Major regarding Unreal Engine with the different animations you see on the stream and in the arena. Also worked this event as a Technical Operations Manager for the show.
