Was browsing through my messy folders on my desktop and found another track that I made while everything in the Netherlands was closed. Well, at least all the fun things in the Netherlands. Again not a track that is meant for a larger release and just something to have in the background while working or waking up. Something to take your mind of things. Used a wide variety of free VST plugins for this one and mostly aimed to learn more about Ableton Live itself without overcomplicating things. The nature sounds you hear in the background are part of the

We have been working hard with the team to make the broadcast for NA/EU/MENA of the 2021-2022 season of RLCS at our new Stockholm Studio. Still making automation and macros while I am typing this to make sure to go live at 18:30 for NA and 17:00 for MENA. In the meanwhile watching the OCE region streaming their matches. This season will have new features, more different kinds of shows than last season, and Unreal integration for playing out graphics. Look at that first opener during the first match on Saturday. For full schedule and the latest info you always

Did not work on my creative projects last week as I am working in the DreamHack Stockholm Studio to get everything ready for another season of RLCS. Not to say that I haven’t learned a lot besides the things I normally setup for a broadcast anyway. Cannot tell too much yet, but the following video gives a glimpse of what is going to happen next weekend in the broadcast at twitch.tv/rocketleague

Here is a little selection of photos made during September 2021. Planning to do this every month to do some kind of story in pictures of what I have been up to besides regular work and to get better at photography by just taking pictures. Having my camera with me and take the opportunities that I come across, but also daring myself to create those opportunities. More photos, blender projects, and other things you normally can find on my Instagram. 9 Days on Ameland To close off this month. We went to Ameland for 9 days to unwind, enjoy nature and

The past few months I have been walking and running a lot while listening to podcast episodes of different series. I thought I would share these for others to enjoy. These were the best episodes I listened to in the Q3 of 2021. That does not necessarily mean that they were created in Q3, but just that I listened to them. As you can see I mostly listened a lot to podcasts with Creative in the name while searching for series to listen to for my outdoor runs. While still on Ameland started to make some more photos, that I will probably post as a round-up when I am back, I started to experiment with the Photomerge function within Photoshop to stitch photos together. You can find many tutorials and already learned that every stitch will require a different approach depending on how you photograph the series. I thought I share one that I am particularly proud of. A stitch of 26 photos and some manual work went into it. The original file is 1,66GB to maybe later make some prints of it. All photos taken with my

This and next week I am sort of off work. Not really as there are still some small things to attend to after the announcement of the 2021-2022 RLCS season, but I did go to Ameland yesterday to do only the necessary things and enjoy some fresh air, nature, and local inspiration. Expect not as frequent posts as I did the past couple of weeks. Although the Daily Doodles will of course just continue. Would be weird to set that on pause only after just posting the 20th one. Most of my time here I will spend wandering around, taking

A couple of my friends have been doing graffiti for years and I asked a while back @instaniwa if I could join him to just watch the process of how it is being made. Graffiti is different of course than a digital art piece as most of the time you can manipulate that along the way and delete layers if you changed your mind. Graffiti are layers stacked on top of each other and for the base of the piece, you already need to plan ahead how you want it to look. Of course, adding the details and flair at

Probably the short answer to why I started uploading some photos, animations, and renders to stock websites: Why not? Most of the time my Canon camera is in my bag anyway. I make pictures all the time and most of them are just stored on a NAS running in the closet next to the router. So I started thinking why not just upload the photos and renders that are suitable to stock websites as then they potentially earn something on the side. Not that I am focussing on the earnings of my personal projects right now, but these kinds of

This is probably going to bite me in the ass along the way, but decided I am going to have Unreal 5 as a starting point to make Just Take 5. Mostly for work as we will eventually switch to using Unreal 5 probably if we do any augmented reality or other things that would require a game engine. And because I already worked often with Unreal 4 for other projects and have the feeling that I know it enough to create something like this. Never build a full game for the Oculus on it, but I did make all
